I will be seeing a psychiatrist for the first time this week and am really hoping that I will be prescribed medication for my anxiety/depression in my first visit.
My anxiety has been really awful lately and really want to get started on a medication.
How likely is it that I will be prescribed medication on my first visit with a psychiatrist?
I have been on medications in the past but none have worked and my doctor said I need to see a psychiatrist to get stronger medication.
