Ok something just out and out nice...best celebrity I ever met, Gillian Anderson. Odd but X-Files kept me going and kept me sane in a very tough period of my life. I always wanted to meet the cast, especially Gillian "Agent Scully". When I was 19, I despaired that would ever happen. I had no money. She pretty much never did scifi conventions anyway. Flash forward to I think age 33. I got to meet her at DragonCon in Atlanta. Even though I have met many celebs in between, I was so nervous to meet her. It was my turn I said my short prepared speech about the show's impact on me and my mental health. She looked at me so kindly and said thanked me and asked how I was doing now. I told her I was so much healthier and felt so much better. She smiled and said she was so glad. It probably lasted two minutes or less but man, that was a dream come true. Definite bucket list check mark.
