Also, standard PTSD nightmares. Definitely get wit ha therapist. They may also prescribe you a sleep med that will limit your dream cycle so that the nightmares keep at bay.
Don't give up on therapy because you have a few bad experiences. Remember, you have the right to fire, and hire, your therapist. Be empowered by that. You know yourself the best and you've already determined what the core probably is. You'll find a good one, give it time.
