Right on, thanks. I'm also on 1500 Depakote but my p-doc will taper me off in a month or so. I drop more pills a day than they did at Woodstock.
I'm glad I can inspire someone - that's what we're here for. Long short - IMO, trying to be a "super hero" with food and life just isn't in the cards for most of us. We all sort of forgot how to live when BP took over. I was a nut, literally. I drank too much, went on rages around the house, and acted abnormally in general. So now, I just seek peace, simplicity, and some level of normalcy. As far as diet goes, I just watch what I eat and exercise two or three times a week when I can get to the gym. No pressure.
Watch your salt intake on the lithium! Soup and packaged foods like tater tots can be a killer for me but table salt isn't even used in my house. Thankfully, no one really likes it.
