Covered her cage at night. Had an empty box of cereal. Would crouch in kitchen by the opening to the bar. When she'd screetch, I'd hurl the box at
Her cage.
I met a breeder who was so amazed. She was trying to breed out the screetch. So I reluctantly sold her to the breeder.

Her name was Pinky. She was so tame she'd climb off her day stand, walk into the bedroom, jump up on the bed. Lay down and listen to my heart.

Then I'd say, what about the covers? She'd use her beak to pull them up over us. And this coming from a bird from the Orange Co Fair Bird Show so wild I needed Steel gloves.
She was amazing. Sulfer crested Molucan Cockatoo. Bigger than the Barreta bird with the yellow crest.
