no it is not weird if alters do not have names. here in my location its ok to have alters with out names. I had many alters that I did not have names for. sometimes alters just like the one they reside with in prefer to be invisible, quiet, unknown. sometimes their job, purpose reason for being is to not let people outside the body know they are there. sometimes their job, purpose reason for being is to answer to the body born name even if thats not their own names.
thats great that you consider yourself a quick understudy. tip....the best way to learn about yourself and your disorder and your internal system is through your own treatment provider. we cant take the place of that. all we can do is tell you what our own system was like, which may or may not be the same way as yours is.
