It's kinda that way in the USA 95% or higher gets denied the first time around then you have to appeal i won on appeal but I also got an attorney when I was denied the first time. I think I was pretty lucky but at the time I was having seizures and getting chemo when I was denied I showed the letter to my doctor and and called them and yelled at them she had tried for years to get me to stop working that was in a January the appeal was sent and February and I was approved in March so I was lucky.
I know people who have been fighting for 3 years it's really sad
