My dogs are a scottish breed and they despise getting wet. When I make them go out to do their business - they act like I am throwing them into some sort of weather hell from which they may never return or if they do return, will not recover - PTSD every time it sprinkles. Even heavy mist distresses my middle guy. I often tell him of his ancestors on the glen and how they did not whine and hide in the human's bed just because they were about to be sent out to pee (and let right back in and given a treat for bravely enduring wet toesies)
