I left Christianity and became a pagan nearly 10 years ago but only in the past year have a formed a regular enough.spiritual practice for it to make sense to have an altar in my home. Prior to that since I only did ceremonies once s month or so I just did it outside. But now that its several times a week it makes more sense. So I set up a little altar in the basement with a candle , my abalone shell bowl, sage and sweet grass, my wolf and otter fetishes, etc.
Then I got upstairs and had a debilitating and completely unexpected panic attack that I was, now, going to.hell for CERTAIN.
I don't even believe in the concept of hell. Bizarre how that training gets inside you as a kid
