I would say that everyone who suffers from psychosis is a brave soul.
Everyone reacts differently to anti-psychotics, so it's common for people to go from one to another to another before they benefit. That's what happened to me, for I've tried many anti-psychotics over the years with no benefit.
I started taking Seroquel several years ago, and my starting dose was 50 mgs/day. Thus my dose has gradually increased over time to what it is now.
Unfortunately, it's trial and error before you find an anti-psychotic that works for you.
