Reading about Xanax as I got some for anxiety. This is from an addiction blog and is apparently designed to turn you off abusing it: "In a way, snorted Xanax works too well because the mode of administration can trigger a euphoric high and intense release from anxiety" They need to fire whoever is in charge of deterring people from abusing drugs
