I take trileptal, tegretols cousin. It did help at first but in the past month or so I'm not doing my best. But it's a good option I'd say. Kept me grounded for awhile! And you do need labs (with trileptal at least) every few months. I don't think it can make you toxic or anything but they do the labs to make sure your at a effective dose.
