As for Europe, the Balkans are magic. Croatia is bit too touristy, but there is still Bosnia and Albania, Montenegro and Serbia...

Or western Ukraine. Seriously. The western part is safe (so is the south-western coast), it is something different, the food is good, the people are great and the exchange rate makes it lolcheap.
