I once met a woman who had her nose pierced, and she claimed it hurt more to get it done than childbirth. Maybe she was exaggerating, but either way, I don't like pain, nor the asymmetry a nose ring brings to the face. Asymmetry bothers me badly. So, I personally won't be getting one. I also am a wimp when it comes to pain. Hell, I kicked the lady piercing my ears when I was 7. She was not a happy lady after that.

So anyways, if you have any tolerance for pain, which I don't seem to have, and it's something that will make you happy, than I'm all for supporting you in doing it. Go have fun and remember to follow what ever instructions the man or woman doing the piercing will give you regarding care for it. Nothing worse than getting an infected nose piercing.
