What does your mother do in life? Does she work? Is she an active community member? From what you wrote it sounds like she has some issues.

It was difficult for me to life with my mother. Neither of us is a bad person (I think), but we would get into verbal fights regularly when I was a teenager. She is very emotional, she would say a lot of hurtful things, get offended... Then after some minutes she would calm down and apologize. Whatever we were fighting about was not really important and could have been settled by just talking. I moved out when I was 18. We talk and see eachother a couple of times a year (we life far from eachother) and we still fight once in a while with her being overly emotional.

You said you have a job. Can you afford renting a place of your own? How old are you btw?
