Writing it out is good. It helps in remembering too. Especially if our heads are feeling scramble-y. You can either use it just for yourself to remember, or hand it to her. Either is just fine. You don't have to decide ahead of time, just go with what seems best at the time.
If for whatever reason writing's not practical (too daunting, not enough time, whatever), you can just print out your post.
