I was also motivated by the video SophiaG posted (and a plumber coming tomorrow). I didn't know that you could clean certain things, I thought the dirt was just permanent. It sounds dumb, but I started using a toothbrush to clean a bunch of stuff that I thought was permanently stained and now I have lots of white surfaces!
