<font color="#000088">I'd count your blessings that your Mom atleast has enough respect to back off when you ask her to! When you remember to anyway! Mine would purposely wait until I was as upset as I could be, and then ambush me! There was no backing off, even when I'd tell her to leave me alone, she'd just get even louder, and more violent! But I did make her cry, even though she deserved every bit of it.
But don't be so hard on yourself for being so stressed, and accidently taking it out on those around you, on occasion!
I'm not hard on myself for what I did, making my Mom cry, because she deserved worse! </font>
