Yes, I agree it is an unhealthy obsession of your T. I don't think that's OCD in play though. OCD is about irrational thoughts like if I don't check the stove 44 times, my house will burn down. That is irrational. This is pretty realistic. Does your T have attachment issues? Like separation anxiety, or some PD? That could cause it.

Anyways, doesn't matter, you should leave him. Maybe explain to him that what he is doing so he will work on it and not do this to other patients of his? Just my advice. Good luck with your T [emoji3].
