My diet is crap. Too much fat, salt, sugar, and processed foods. But I've tried and tried, and I can't make myself like broccoli or cauliflower, kale and tofu and other so-called healthy foods. I am 57 years old and I'm long past the time where other people get to tell me what I should and should not eat. Of course, I'm over 300 lbs. and unable to do much physical activity, so something's gotta give. But I can't imagine dieting again...and weight loss surgery isn't an option due to finances.

What any of that has to do with bipolar, I don't know. Supposedly there is a link between BP (got that) obesity (yup), and even diabetes (I have that too). I think the meds have something to do with it because so many of them make you hungry, which makes you overeat, which leads to obesity, and obesity is a huge risk for type 2 diabetes.

Speaking of cinnamon rolls: my son in law makes the most amazing Kahlua cinnamon rolls you've ever tasted. It takes half a day but they are SO worth the effort. YUM!
