Though I am in no particular rush to get into a relationship, I do peruse dating sites. On one of them, I had "liked" a guy and sent him a brief message. A month passed with no response, nothing, and then today? He "liked" me back. So I sent him another brief message.

I don't know where this'll go, nor am I expecting it'll go anywhere, tbh. My philosophy is to go into these sorts of things not expecting anything to happen, but having hope that maybe some guy some time will eventually respond to the message I sent them. That way I don't set myself up for disappointment.

I know it's all too easy to click that "like" button, so yeah. Maybe he'll respond this time, maybe not. Either way, it gave me a little something to do today, besides being on here and talking to this community.
