My friend is into these super healthy fads. She believes we head "from the inside out." She's not against my medication by any means, but she thinks that nutrition plays a huge role on moods and such.
So she's made me these healthy shakes with avocado and almond milk and greek yoghurt, and I do feel more energized with them. She's into this potato starch thing where you drink some of it daily with warm water.
My diet goes up and down depending on if I'm depressed or not, just like my exercising.
Have you noticed how nutrition impacts your bp? I know I slept super well last night, the first time in a week, and it was the first time I drank the potato starch. I understand the other stuff, but I'm definitely not convinced about the potato starch (I think it's kind of faddish.)
