my understanding of this is that oklahoma is discontinuing medicaid for those that are ....non pregnant, able bodied people with incomes over 42 percent of the poverty level.

what that means is people who qualify (SSI/SSDI, mental disordered and physically handicapped and pregnant women under the age of 65 who do not make more than 42 percent over the poverty level) will still get medicaid.

all others....

those that are able to work and have an income that meets 42 % over the poverty level will have their government assistance closed and will need to sign up for their work places medical insurance plan or other private health insurance plan. if you are working and make over 42 % of the poverty level your caseworker will be able to tell you what private insurance plans are in your area or you can watch the government website healthcare.gov they open up periodically for americans to sign up for private and or state insurance plans that fit your needs, you can also look in your local yellow pages for health insurance agencies in your location.
