Real food is good. Try to avoid overly processed food (please don't give me argument "boiling is processing, so all food is "processed"). Eat food, not chemicals. I am not much into fad diets, most of them are just variation "don't eat lot of things, including normal foods". Low anything is likely not gonna be good for you. Just observe how foods make you feel and eat intuitevely. Prepare your own food.

I would make an exception for fortified food.
And the right fatty foods (those containing e.g. sunflower or canola oil) as opposed to the wrong fatty acids (unsaturated, high cholesterol, little vitamin E).
Genetic modification may be a problem, though. But I think it doesn't outweigh the benefits.
Especially those foods (also) rich in vitamin E can be good for us (those with psychotic disorders), because it protects the brain from too much excitation.
