My son is also a loner. He has hobbies that don't involve other people. He has plenty of friends at school but prefers to spend his down time at home. I watch him like a hawk because of his moodiness.
Teenagers really are hard. I am not looking forward to my daughter becoming one. She's already dramatic lol.

Lol! My son is dramatic, too! I want them independent but at the same time it's hard to let go. But yeah hawk eyes is what I do too! Some kids are just introverts so that's OK.
