If I eat too close to bedtime I lie awake either cuz of gerd symptoms or the digestion process. Is something like that making it hard for you to sleep? Another thought about bedtime snacking, what about a gradual taper of the volume/calories? It's really hard to just give up a bedtime snack if that's part of the sleep preparation ritual. Whatever works to get a good night sleep is the way to go. I'm sorry you feel like a mess today. That's really tough.
