Hmm, i never thought of such a comparison. For me anxiety is bashful in social circles that i feel are way above my monetary means. AVP to me would seem different. It would mean that you do not avoid people because of social class of economics but rather not wanting to be around people at all. So one would have to do with the haves and have nots and feeling bad being compared. The other would do with mentally not wanting to be around any other human beings.
