There are several dissociative problems such as depersonalization disorder, depersonalization attacks, derealization attacks, dissociative amnesia without other symptoms (one time or often), self soothing into self hypnosis, chronic numbness from dissociation and many more. Some of them have their own entries in the DSM. Also there are DID like issues that do not meet the DID criteria.
DID is sort of hogging the dissociation forum and by any means, I think it "should", but I also think there should be a place for other types of dissociation issues.
Totally crappy idea??

It is called the Dissociative Disorders thread. This would imply that the topics that you raised are included. Most other forums are inclusive of a number of issues under the given topic. I have seen over my time here those issues that you mentioned discussed by people all over PC and in the Dissociative Disorders Forum itself. I would hope that the issues you raise would be welcomed.
Yes, DID is a part of dissociation and warrants a forum. Yet, the issues you raised are also part of the Dissociative scale and warrant inclusion place alongside DID in the same forum. I do see that they have been included in the past and should be welcome there on an ongoing basis.
