i know when my sons father was abusing alcohol, it would change his whole personality. it got to the point where i had to call the police to get my son and i out of our apartment. i had to find a place for us to live but did do it. i did still love him but he was bad for my own mental health. we havn't seen him in 10 years and are both happy about it.
