Lark, the ignore feature only prevents people from posting in threads you start. It doesn't stop them from commenting on your posts in threads started by someone else.
I understand your frustration about someone you have on ignore commenting on your posts. I don't like it either. How about seeing it as a way of working on self discipline and not open their posts? I know from personal experience that is difficult too, but it's on me to show self-restraint and not open the post.
