Hi, i had a frozen shoulder and could not lift above my waist. It took me about 9 months to raise it and another two to use it with pain. I am over 50. Knees, i am in constant pain walking, hips, back, spine and shoulder blades. I also have fibramialga. I hope this helps. tc
