That's exactly what I was thinking. I know my T has said I can rescind at any time my permission for her, my marriage counselor, and my p-doc to exchange information. So I assume (since you're in the U.S.), that it would be the same with permission for your T to talk to your mom. If it's keeping you from being honest, then that can't be good for your therapy.
