I prefer to go shopping for clothes alone. Experiences of doing that with girlfriends makes me nervous and I never buy anything. The friends keep picking out things that are 'perfect' for me that are hideous and not my style at all.

I went out to a nice restaurant alone once. I was wearing a very sexy red dress and was going to meet up with a man later. The restaurant was full and people were waiting. I walked in together with a good-looking man who was also alone. The hostess said to both of us at the same time there was one table for two in the bar. We looked at each other and I said "We can sit together".

So he and I ate dinner together. We had a good time and good conversation. Told each other all about our lives. He asked to see me again, but I said no. (Frankly because I had too much men on my hands at the moment). And he picked up the check.

I often go to the movies alone. I felt like an idiot in Pitch Perfect 2, laughing more than anybody in the packed audience all by myself. I thought it was hilarious!

I traveled once alone a plane and rented a car. I felt empowered and proud of my independence.

I've led a really sheltered life.
