Xanax is obviously ok for short-term relief of anxiety, ambien should in theory help you sleep... but you are not taking anything for your mood. SSRIs/SNRIs can have the added benefit of helping reduce overall levels of anxiety too...
I'm not sure exactly what different roles various workers have over there, but has your therapist given you any worksheets or exercises to help with your anxiety or mood? Or do you just talk in general...?

we just talk. and usually about my school. i guess since my life revolves around that.
ive never been on effexor. it was cymbalta that was giving my high blood pressure.
i think a ssri or snri could help. i think id like to go back on that cymbalta regardless of the high blood pressure...
