I'm reading a book which suggests schizophrenia (and other disorders with a genetic link) can start with interrupted chemical messages between fetus and mother which results in a premature or long lasting birth (cause the baby helps tell it's mum when it wants to be born via chemicals in its brain like oxytocin)

My question is whether this is vaguely accurate within the community here, do any of you know if you had trouble being born or were premature etc?
