I'm on my fourth psychiatrist in about 20 years. The one I have now is the best, and I'm going to keep him until one of us retires or dies. I don't remember how I ended my relationship with the first two, but it was polite and painless in both cases. I quit going to my my third doctor because he did something that I considered to be an incomprehensible breach of trust. I walked out and never talked with him again. Good luck with your search.
