I don't have anything to add... You've already gotten the best advice: be honest with them, and if you are having trouble relating remember that not all therapists are a good fit for all patients. Try your best, let him or her guide you, but ultimately if they aren't able to help you feel comfortable talking or if you are not comfortable with their advice* consider that they may not be a good fit for you and seek another.
*Keep in mind a good therapist might push you out of your comfort zone a bit in order to help you but ultimately you should be comfortable and able to talk to them.
