How would you finish a sentence starting with "BP is..." which fully covers the essentials (and particulars) of BP?
Let's make this into a game: you start with 0 points, you get points added for every "Thanks for this!" your post with your sentence receives (one point for each) and points deducted for every (nested) verb-phrase (including infinitives), (present/past) participle or gerund in your sentence (main verbs, written or implied: not auxiliary verbs; 1 for each phrase)—excluding the first copula
is.
You can enter multiple sentences in the competition: from the one with the highest score for any one contestant, a point will be deducted for each additional sentence you have entered in the race.
"Hugs" are (just) for encouragement.
Bets on the winner are taken: 1 divided by the number of bets on your chosen sentence is multiplied by your highest points for any of your sentences or the score of your only sentence, or 1 if you haven't entered any sentence, and added to your highest score or otherwise (only if you haven't entered any sentence, 0—minus 1 point for each sentence already entered.
If you wanna bet, just create a post like "I wanna bet on..." in this thread.
No other influencing of the referee or bookie.
There is one referee, bookmaker and scorekeeper: me.
There will be running commentary.
Plagiarism is reason for disqualification, at the referee's discretion.
The race ends on the 21st of March, 2016, at 1:00 pm GMT/UTC.
Let the game begin! Good luck.
Edit:
Scores can be negative.
