I can relate to an extent to what you are saying. I do mind myself living in my memories sometimes. It's almost like you are living in that time again. With the remembering things, I also have difficulties there and I believe it is a normal natural part of PTSD and reactions to trauma, these reactions and symptoms can and may last awhile. It's, in my opinion something that is going to happen, the memory problems. It's like your mind has gone through shock, it's going to take awhile to repair back to full functioning and so it's not going to happen right away and it's just good to remember to not give up. If you need to do some grounding, noticing your surroundings and noticing the "here and now" and it will bring you back to the present time. It's what I use when I dissociate , it brings me back to the "here and now." That's really what I can say. So yes I do relate to your experiences to an extent. I wih you good luck and I hope things will look up for you.
