Venusss, you are very helpful. You put things in perspective and in a very insightful and non-too-assertive way, I'd say. Maybe not with the softest gloves, but not offensive or ad hominem as far as I can tell (must admit I haven't really followed your latest discussion/debate (or fight?: wouldn't know but looked maybe just a bit like it)).

Mania kills cells. Brain cells die. Memories become more reduced conceptually, making more efficient use of limited means. Memories shape our reality. Our memories are more or less split in two by abstractions, conceptual reductions. Mood states with memories, concepts, attached. Memories of pain and those of joy. It causes instability, changeability. Fearing that will leave an emptiness between pain and joy and a greater divide.
