Sorry to hear your doc was so insensitive. I don't blame you for asking your other doc if the PET scan is going to do any good. I wouldn't do anything I didn't have to either. Sometimes I think MD's just look for a scientific reasoning behind every symptom we report, because they don't have the training to deal with the brain and to be honest I don't think their egos allow them to say "I don't know what's wrong with you."....A real pisser.

I really hope things look better for you come Friday. I know how nerve-wracking waiting can be. Deep breaths, try not to panic, that is a good start. Believe me,I know how you feel. I suffer from panic attacks and those are a scary prospect. Try not to stress, I know, easier said than done.

But I'll be sending good thoughts your way!
