"c'mon, buddy!" -- when the driver in front of me is taking his or her sweet time to make a decision

"Oh, THAT was smooth" -- when the driver in front of me does something boneheaded without warning

(yes, for living in a town of 13,000 with no traffic to speak of, I have a lot of traffic issues )

"true enough" -- not sure where I picked this one up, and if you really look at it, it smacks of a relativism I don't (and professionally can't) believe in. Something is true or it isn't. Period.

There's one I would never get past the profanity filter here

"Duuuuuude" -- picked up from my BIL, who picked it up from my 20-something niece and nephew. Generally appended to the front of something else, e.g., "Duuuuuude, that was really stupid."

"Uff da" (pronounced OOF duh) -- a regionalism if ever there was one. Basically the Scandinavian version of "good grief." There is a doggy day care and salon in Minneapolis called "Woof Da", and I've never been able to decide whether it's clever or stupid.

I'm putting "you bet" on the list because I'm told nobody outside the Midwest says it. In my particular part of the world, it tends to end up as "you betcha," which I'm told is even hokier and more Midwestern
