I had the same experience with synthroid. Actually I got lot of extra energy for the whole first year. Then they had to up the dosage but I never had the good effect back. I never went back to the dragging I had before meds but the normal energy I only had one year. Thyroids are tricky. Here you get "stabilized" and then they let you go to GP even if you don't feel stabilized.
