The fact that you state that you can see MUCH better with the new one than the first one.....would be MY DEFINING test right there. That seeing much better has to do with the script, not the type of contact lens you are using.
Glasses or contacts are about seeing much better......testing isn't going to change that. Maybe the comfort of the different brands, but your seeing better with the second prescription tell is all as to which one was correct.
