Sometimes it is hard when we think we're okay and someone else tells us we are not. I still remember when I was working one day in a multi-room office and my boss comes to the station where I was, all out of breath, and asked me, "Where were you??!!!" and I explained my "route" and where I was and he instantly replied, "No you weren't!" I can't tell you how confused that made me :-) How do you "convince" someone when there's no "facts"/proof? I think for me that it harkened back to my stepmother questioning me and not always believing me, etc. and how I never had a way to "prove" myself.
I once had a boyfriend, who, toward the end of our relationship decided if I was not with him then I was obviously out with another man! The other person is the one who has a problem but sometimes it plays on our own background and makes us feel insecure.
