Seriously though, using the prescriptions to get through is just a cycle. You'll be good after the doc visits but by the end of the month your screwed again. It'll never end that way.

She may have legitimate needs for some of the medications she has been taking. It's just the ones that are being abused that appear to be the problem. There are no hard and fast rules about recovery and for many, there is a real need for medications to treat underlying MH issues. Suboxone and methadone may be controversial, but they have helped many when done in the context of a full recovery program.
