I love this thank you Skeezyks.
For me positive thinking is an important coping skill. It helps me cope. It does not cure my depression it helps me cope/counteract some of the negative effects of depression.
If one has purely situational depression, positive thinking maybe just might be a way out of it. For clinical depression where the brain chemicals are out of whack the positive thinking can only be a way to help get through until if/when a cure is found and applied.
And yes it makes me angry too when people who aren't here think they know what is in here and how to fix it.
