Does this mean my T can break confidentiality and tell my Gp everything?

Also, my GP said something that I was a bit confused by. "Do you think you are unwell or do you think we are just making a fuss over you for nothing?"...

Odd?

Your T can't break confidentiality except in circumstances where you are a danger to yourself or others. S/he can, however, talk about your care with other health professionals who are a) in the same practice b) who you have given written permission for him/her to talk to. This may have been in intake paperwork.

The GP's comment might have been more sensitively phrased (it's hard to tell, lacking context) but it's a legitimate question--are you and your providers on the same page about the severity (or not) of your issues?
