I would be surprised if your T broke confidentiality in the circumstances you describe. I expect the most they would say would be around the sessions open to you and whether your T thought this kind of therapy is right for you just now. Short/fixed term work isn't for everyone, nor is CBT, psychodynamic etc etc and there's an arguement to be said that no therapy is better than bad/wrong therapy.
