I've worked in drs offices and I can admit that labs very often get tossed aside until the patient themselves call and ask. As far as the lab goes, can you go to a different lab? The pdocs should be giving you a paper that says who to send results too, along with what to draw for. If they aren't then ask them if they have those available. In my experience we almost always used oak wood labs and they were always fast. Like next day fast. And if for some reason we didn't get the fax then there's an 800 number where you can request any labs. I guess it all depends on what lab the office uses, your insurance ECT.
